Canora coaches Thomas Lowes and Leona Kitchen said it was great for everyone to be back at provincials this year after the interruption due to COVID-19/

“The weather was perfect, and having so many athletes together again at a meet was heartwarming,” reported the coaches. “There were a lot of rookies participating this year, since the only athletes that had previously attended a provincial meet were those that are currently in Grade 12. There were a lot of excited nerves to push through, but our students did great. They represented CCS in a very positive way. Having one of our athletes, Matthew Makowsky, earn a bronze medal in high jump is the icing on the cake to a very successful season. We can't wait to see what next season will bring!”
