The Organization of Saskatchewan Arts Councils (OSAC) along with its member Arts Councils are proud to present The Barra MacNeils. Student Benefit Hockey Game is scheduled for Wed., April 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Farrell Agencies Arena. Students from Sacred Heart and the Yorkton Regional will be playing for hockey supremacy over their old and brittle teachers. This year鈥檚 beneficiary is 5 year old Cooper Syzsky. Cooper suffers from scoliosis which is further complicated by an intramedullary lipoma (a growth in his spinal column) which causes his spine to bend and twist. The scoliosis and lipoma have affected his ability to walk as well as his breathing. Cooper has to travel to Edmonton for continued surgery to treat and alleviate his conditions. Along with the game you will also enjoy I.P. hockey and the Great Elementary Schools shootout during the intermission.

The Canadian Federation of University Women Inc invites the public to attend a presentation on 鈥淕oing Green鈥 on Tues., March 31, 2015 at 7 p.m. in Room 122 at Parkland College. Speaker Brian Bueckert will discuss the option of 鈥淕oing Green鈥 through the use of geo thermal heating and the use of solar panels.
