NORQUAY — At a recent local trade fair on the 22nd of September, attendees had the opportunity to connect with various vendors and participants at the Norquay Nice Centre while having lunch.
One of the vendors at the event included Joanne Craig, who showcased her jewelry. Joanne briefly discussed her business and her experience with trade shows.
“I've been to Norquay for quite a few different sales over the years and I know quite a few of the people here. It’s just a good, lovely day to get out.”
Another vendor was Janice Cote, who brought various birch crafts, featuring her and her husband’s birch bark containers.
Cynthia Danielson had a table that included various spices, sauces and baked goods.
Linda and Ted Kreklewetz brought various items including jewellery, clothes, and blankets.
Peter Fehr, another attendee who specialized in woodworking, shared his experiences and mentioned his enjoyment of the craft. He had been involved in woodworking for years, but after retiring from it he had various items to sell. He also sold some of his granddaughter’s paintings.
Shirly Saseniuk of Pebble Stone Creations sold various framed artworks including pebbles and small stones arranged to create images and portrayals of various scenes, objects, and creatures.
