Eager shoppers get jump-start at Christmas gifts

Christmas crafts and baking greeted last minute shoppers at Preeceville craft sale.

PREECEVILLE - Christmas shoppers and vendors enjoyed visiting at the Christmas craft sale held at the Preeceville Community Legion Hall on Dec. 7. The sale featured many vendors with many people taking advantage to do some shopping.

It was sponsored by the Preeceville Public Library and the Nordic Ski Club.

There were a variety of raffles that were drawn for at the end of the sale. Vendors and what they offered included: Joanne Craig (Family birthstone necklaces); Natalia Uktina, polymer clay magnets; Prairie flavours ranch honey and candles; Angela Scheller, Country fresh; Carrie Konkel, Tupperware; Shaylynn, Sunset Gourmet; Judy Vewchar-baking and canning; Millie Zieler and Elly, crystals; Shelley Barabash, Seint makeup and Monat hair care; Lisa Teslia-Watkins; Polly Schindel, Saskapaca; Heather Desculchuk Pampered Chef; Brad Thompson silver and gold jewelry and Canadian coins; Brittney Buhler (Graceful Glo candles) soy candles and crocheted items; Shannon, The Sweet Tooth booth; Diane Ruf spring rolls; Leanne McKay Fudge; Marilyn Melinchuk Essential Oils and Nano Silver products; Macy Balywyder (keychains pens, soft rubber ball accessories); Laura Sliva baba’s biscuits; Marie Kupchinski, Mary Kay makeup; Laura Davis, Laura Marie jewelry; Shilo Knudsen, 3-d Zoo; Phyllis Verbeek baking (fruit cakes); Bake Me Happy, Sage and Adley Ward; The Mindful Living Movement, Lindsay Warne; Jocelyne St-Jacques, Dandee-care natural products; Friends of Pelly, wooden Christmas trees; Dora Schutte leather products; Bonnie Bazarski hand-made crafts and greeting cards; Lori Newton baking sprinkle and bake; Charlie Newton, Perfect Chaos; Sherry Drew, The Blanket Lady; Beth Toews, spices and drink mixes; Melanie- freeze dried items; the Preeceville School sold tickets; the skating club sold raffle tickets; Angee, Sweet Surprises; Jackie Pankratz barbecue sauce; Nordic ski club; Jennifer Bayer, wreaths; Vesela’s International Kitchen, and Lisa Fredrick’s Christmas baskets.

Santa Claus made a brief stop to visit with the children and read a book to the children. Children received a literacy bag full of goodies and also had the opportunity to play with literacy related items.

Ketchen Lake Bible Camp prepared the lunch.
