The 铿乫th annual Sturgis motorcycle rally weekend kicked off on July 31 with a dance with music that was supplied by James Williams at the Night Train Saloon outdoor stage. The group gathered at the yard of Ron and Rose Descalchuk, three miles east of Preeceville.
The Descalchuks used the opportunity for a duo celebration as it was also their 40th wedding anniversary.
Accompanying the riders were a 1985 Pontiac hearse owned by the Descalchuks and a 1969 GMC ambulance owned by Jim Pollock of Kamsack.
