SASKATOON — The human remains found in Saskatoon's Hyde Park have been identified as a woman who went missing July 10.
On July 18, at approximately 10:20 a.m., the 53-year-old subject of a missing persons investigation, Nuzhat Tabassum, was located deceased in Hyde Park.
This follows an earlier release of information that human remains were located in the area. An autopsy was performed by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service on the morning of July 19 and police do not believe the death to be suspicious. Next of kin notifications have been completed.
Police have extended their thanks to the Saskatoon Fire Department, Saskatoon Search and Rescue, and members of the public and media for their assistance in this investigation.
