鈥淭he events had been held in past years with the 铿 re department organizing it,鈥 said Bryce Murray. 鈥淏ut over the years, they gave it up and no one else was organizing it. We as a community gathered together and formed an organization to continue the tradition.鈥

A parade with 20 plus floats kicked off the weekend on Saturday. Saturday鈥檚 events included ATV mud bogs in classes, 500cc to 700cc, 701cc to 999cc, 1,000cc and over and a powder puff category. There was also a quad pulls event.

There were 17 trucks entered in the truck mud bogs. There were classes in street, super stock, modified, powder puff and mechanics. Entries were from Warman, Regina, Saskatoon, Yorkton and local areas.

There was a dash for cash through the mud in two categories, under 16 and 16 and over.

Ken Murray donated a 1975 half ton Ford truck that was raffled and made approximately $3,000. Trevor Brownlee from Kelvington won it.

There was a sand pit for children with mini back hoe diggers and a candy store. The entertainment for Saturday featured Garet Wood.

There was a slo-pitch tournament with six teams entered.

Fireworks concluded Saturday鈥檚 events.

鈥淭he weekend exceeded our expectations and we鈥檙e looking forward to next year鈥檚 bigger and better mud bogs,鈥 said Murray.
