Outlook RCMP probing two vandalism cases

The Outlook RCMP are in the midst of investigating two separate cases of vandalism that recently occurred in the town of Outlook and the tiny hamlet of Bounty.

The Outlook RCMP are in the midst of investigating two separate cases of vandalism that recently occurred in the town of Outlook and the tiny hamlet of Bounty.

Police say that sometime between 11:00 pm on Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30, someone damaged the train car that’s located at the Outlook Heritage Museum.  Windows were seen to be smashed on the north and south sides of the caboose.

As well, Outlook RCMP are co-investigating with the Elbow RCMP on a break-and-enter and mischief incident that happened at a residence in Bounty between the evening of September 5 and the early morning of September 7.  The residence had the front door broken into, at which point an unknown individual(s) broke every window in the house, made holes in the walls, and destroyed a number of appliances and electronics.  The exterior of the home and property were also discovered to be damaged.  The total cost of the damages is estimated at $10,000.
