You might want to make sure those boots have been dusted off and that cowboy hat is within reach, because one of this past year’s most successful events in Outlook is making a return in 2019.
The Outlook Riverbank Rodeo took place over August 24 & 25, welcoming massive crowds over both nights and enjoying critical praise, with many people glad to see that the rodeo event made its return to Outlook after an absence of many years.
Now, organizers have revealed after meeting with the town council of Outlook that the next Riverbank Rodeo is set for August 23 & 24, 2019. The event will take place at the same location as last year, just south of LCBI High School.
Town officials heard the goals of the rodeo committee, which is to help make Outlook a hub for rodeo events, looking to secure the location site for the next few years to help re-establish the sport in the area.
It may only be the first week of December, but since time has a way of speeding things up, the gap may not feel so long before Rudolph and the rest of the reindeer are replaced by spurs, broncs and bulls.
