The Outlook RCMP is asking for the public’s help in solving a pair of break-ins and thefts that have occurred in the RM of Rudy over the past few weeks.
One such break-in took place just northeast of Outlook, where a shop was broken into. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole tools and gas, as well as other items. The other theft happened nine miles south of Broderick, where a large amount of fuel was stolen.
Police continue to warn the public that this is the time of year when break-and-enters and thefts are at their highest in the Outlook detachment area. Items that are most commonly stolen around this time are copper wire, fuel and tools.
The RCMP ask that you please keep an eye out for your property, as well as your neighbors and friends, and report any suspicious people or vehicles to the police. If you can obtain a license plate of a vehicle you believe to be suspicious, call it in for the RCMP’s records.
If you have information on these or any other crimes, contact the Outlook RCMP at (306) 867-5440 or Crimestoppers.
