We’re a couple of weeks away from the beginning of another school year, but planning has already been done for the new season of high school six-man football, with the game schedules released for both the Outlook Blues and LCBI Bisons.
The Bisons are playing in 1A Conference 3 this year and have competition in the form of rosters from Viscount, Hanley, Central Butte, Gull Lake, and Hague. Meanwhile, the Blues, making their return as a senior team after an absence in the 2018 season, are playing in 2A Conference 2 this year and will take on the rosters from Kindersley, Clavet, Rosetown, Biggar, Unity, and Davidson.
The Saskatchewan High Schools Athletic Association (SHSAA) posted game schedules on its official website. Fans of the Blues and Bisons can catch the teams playing on the following dates:

In previous years, the Bisons have typically hosted a pre-season exhibition game on the first Friday of the new school year, which in this case would be on September 6. There has been no indication of such a game taking place just yet, but that information may be forthcoming as the new school year approaches.
