YORKTON - After a near two-week break the Yorkton Terriers found a win in their first game back in action Friday.
The hometown Estevan Bruins started the scoring in the SJHL contest as Felix Allard scored 1:08 into the contest.
Twenty-seven seconds later the score was tied 1-1 on a Terrier goal by Aiden Knutson.
The tie held until the middle frame when Yorkton pulled ahead.
Anthony McIntosh scored at 1:20, and an unassisted Brett Butz goal made it 3-1 at 11:14.
The home-side pulled within one when Zachary Burns scored on the powerplay at 19:21 to make it a 3-2 score through two periods of play.
The only goal of the third was by Terrier Dustin Renas with his first to round out a 4-2 road win for Yorkton.
Ethan Farrow was in the Terrier net for the win facing 43-shots.
Cam Hrdlicka took the loss in the Bruin net facing 31-shots.
The teams face off again tonight (Feb. 3), at the Westland Insurance Arena in Yorkton.
