OUTLOOK - It could only happen in a small town on the prairies, everybody.
On Monday morning, March 10, as people in Outlook were waking up to the newest skiff of snow on the ground, some people in the west side of town also noticed something big.....and brown.....and moving.......and possibly MOOing, as a cow that had gotten loose from the vet clinic found itself wandering the streets of the riverside community.
Elayna Bowie-Vestre put out a post on Facebook asking people to contact her if they'd seen her animal, and it wasn't long before Ole Bessie was picked up, but not before resident Chelsea Megan snapped and posted this photo that got more than a few laughs and one-liners on social media.
"This is part of the reason I stay on the Outlook Facebook page," one person said. "Never a dull moment."
Without a doubt, it was one of the more uniquely Saskatchewan ways in which everyone started the work week.
