KENASTON - There's a hockey dynasty right here in the Lake Diefenbaker regional community area.

And they just brought a winter storm to their competition to claim their fourth straight provincial championship.

The Kenaston Blizzards did so on Sunday, March 30 at home when they hosted the Round Lake Bears in Game Three of the Provincial Senior 'A' Championship series. Game One saw the Bears take the win at 8-4, Game Two saw the Blizzards rebound with a 7-5 win, and Game Three came down to both sides clawing tooth and nail for the 'A' side title.

When all was said and done, Kenaston found a way to push through and maintain the lead, combating virtually any attempt by Round Lake at a comeback straight through to the final buzzer, and when it was all over, the Blizzards had claimed their fourth provincial trophy in as many years, winning it all at a score of 8-3.

Scoring for Kenaston were #17 Kenton Dulle (2), #91 Carson Stadnyk (2), #24 Kade Kehoe (2), #74 Shane Collins, and #16 Jordan Tkatch.

Kenaston had made it to the provincial final by defeating Loreburn and Kyle, while Round Lake had made it by defeating Wynyard and Lumsden.
