ELBOW - In early March, we brought you images of what the Line 19 Multiplex facility in the village of Elbow was starting to look like. Now, two months later, the building is starting to turn the corner and take serious shape as construction continues.
Jocelyn Veikle, project manager, says that construction on the ambitious recreation locale is going as planned, with the building being on budget and the work actually still ahead of schedule. The second of three concrete slabs was scheduled to be poured the day after this photo was captured on Monday night, May 16, and the exterior work is also progressing.
Veikle also says the siding should be going on soon, and inquiries have already started to come in about booking the space for future events.
The Line 19 administration will be issuing a formal press release shortly that will announce naming rights donors and include another update on construction. Look for that in an upcoming issue.
