OUTLOOK - With the regular season having concluded, teams in the Coteau Hills Baseball League now enter into the league playoffs to see which roster will come out on top.
The Outlook River Hawks began their series of games on the road, playing against the Riverhurst Raiders on Monday, July 11. When all was said and done, Outlook had bested their hosts at a score of 6-3, bringing the best two out of three game series back to Outlook on Wednesday. This game would belong solely to the visiting Raiders, who commanded the diamond and would eventually win the game at a score of 23-5. The River Hawks, stinging from the loss, would have one more chance at victory as things went to Game 3 on Thursday back in Riverhurst. It was there that Outlook made a comeback, taking the win and this particular series of games at a score of 7-2.
The win advanced the River Hawks further into league playoffs, matching them up next against Dinsmore.
Both teams are set to play this week, with Outlook travelling to Dinsmore tonight for Game 1 at 6:30, and then both teams are back in Outlook on Tuesday, again at 6:30.
UPDATE
Game 1 originally set for tonight has been cancelled, but both Outlook and Dinsmore will still play in town on Tuesday at 6:30.
