OUTLOOK - The holidays have gone to the dogs (and the cat) in Outlook once again.
At the Outlook & District Heritage Museum on Saturday, November 18, it was unseasonably warm at a very tame +15 degrees for the annual Santa Paws Day event, which saw people bring their four-legged friends in to meet Santa. The day didn't just belong to the dogs, however, as feisty felines were a special part of the day too.
After meeting St. Nick, people were invited to enjoy popcorn, hot chocolate, and hop on a sleigh ride around town. If that wasn't enough, they could even meet some very, very young pups up close in the museum kitchen, which were very popular with some of Outlook's youngest citizens.
The popular event brought out many families, but people are also being reminded that the Christmas season of events will continue on Saturday, December 2 when the Reel Theatre will host the free movie, 'Klaus', which includes admission and popcorn, and will also feature Santa Claus meeting and greeting people before each showing at 1:00 and 3:30. Tickets for the free event are available at AG Foods, Jacq'y Jaye's, and the Outlook Bakery.
