Marcella Boulanger of Yorkton passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. She was 75 years of age. Marcella was born on August 5, 1937 in Yorkton SK; a daughter of Clifford and Clara Lovelace and sister of Marvel, Llewellyn and Clifford. Marcella was married to Raymond Boulanger where they made their home in Prince George and later Prince Rupert, BC with their four children. Marcella and Raymond lived in Vancouver after their children were grown until Raymond's passing in 1995. She then came back to Saskatchewan in 1998 to live and help take care of her mother until her passing in 2000. Marcella was a friendly and outgoing person with an infectious smile who loved to attend the dance every Friday at the New Horizons Senior's Centre and she also enjoyed bowling every Tuesday morning. She was very energetic and loved to walk everywhere she went. Marcella had a love for collecting elephants that everyone enjoyed giving her, at last count she had close to five hundred. Marcella leaves to cherish her memory and to celebrate her life her loving family, daughters: Maureen, her husband Allan their two children Robert and Kayla, Allan's three daughters Tanya, Angela and Janice their husbands and together eight children. Muriel, her husband Peter and children Christina husband Thomas their two children Isabella and Clare, Brendon and wife Maria, Timothy and wife Sarah, Scott and wife Rebecca and son Heath, daughter Hannah. Her sons: Wayne and wife Denise their son Lorn, Denise's sons Christopher and Brian and Chris's two children. Marcel, and wife Kerri-Ann their daughter Sarah, Marcel's sons Marc and Jesse, Jesse's daughter Abigail, Kerri-Ann's sons Glynn and Marshal. Marcella was predeceased by her father Clifford Lovelace (1976), mother Clara Lovelace (2000), her husband Raymond Boulanger (1995),brother-in-law Gordon Shiplack (1975) and brother Clifford Lovelace (2009). She will be greatly missed by her loving family & friends. Funeral services were held on Monday, January 28, 2013 from the Yorkton Memorial Gardens Family Centre with Rev. Molly Kitchen officiating. Son-in-law Peter Brown gave the eulogy. The organist, Amanda Buhler led the congregation in the singing of the hymns 'Amazing Grace' and 'The Old Rugged Cross'. Soloist, Leonard Varga, sang 'Blest Are They'. The recessional hymn was 'The Tennessee Waltz'. The interment took place in the Garden of St. Matthew with Llewelyn Lovelace as urnbearer, assisted by Jesse Boulanger and Kayla Marsden. Condolences may be left at baileysfuneralhome.com.
