The family of Oryl Nichol announce her passing on January 31, 2013 at the Yorkton & District Nursing Home, Yorkton, SK. She was 81 years of age. Oryl was born on March 23, 1931 in Saltcoats, SK, the daughter of Alvin and Lottie (nee Ward) Nichol. She grew up in Saltcoats and went to school there as well. Oryl was predeceased by her parents; her sisters and their husbands, Sylvia (Russ) , Gaileen (Ivan) and Merle (Victor); her brother, Jack (Joan) and a nephew, Jim. She leaves to mourn her passing her brother, Alvin "Sunny" (Elaine) Nichol as well as many nieces and nephews and their families. In accordance with Oryl's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family cremation committal will take place at a later date.
