YORKTON – On Feb. 7 the Sask. High School Athletic Association awarded the Sacred Heart High School Girl's 4A Soccer Team a sportsmanship banner.
The recognition stems from the team's efforts at the 4A Girl's Provincial Soccer Championships held in Martensville in Oct. of last year.
The team — coached by Dean Depape and Samantha Jonassen — placed third in the tournament, losing to Regina Luther in the semi-finals and besting Cheif John Keenatch High School in the bronze final.
