Public notice is hereby given that the Council of the Rural Municipality of Estevan No. 5 intends to adopt a bylaw under The Planning and Development Act, 2007, to amend Bylaw No. 5-2014, known as the Zoning Bylaw.
INTENT: The proposed bylaw allows for sign dimensions exceeding the limits specified in the bylaw to be permitted by resolution in all Zoning Districts.
REASON: To allow for signage to exceed the dimensions specified in the bylaw when it is required and appropriate.
PUBLIC INSPECTION: Any person may inspect the bylaw at the municipal office at #1-322 4th Street, Estevan, SK, S4A 0T8, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., excluding holidays. Copies are available at cost.
PUBLIC HEARING: The Council will hold a public hearing on February 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Council Chambers at #1 – 322 4th Street, Estevan, SK, to hear any person or group that wants to comment on the proposed bylaw. Council will also consider written comments received at the hearing or delivered to the undersigned at the municipal office before the hearing.
