Two-year-old Sara Secujski has a lot to smile about. Feb. 8, Sara, along with her mother, Sonja, father, Srdjan, and brother, Stefan, became Canadian citizens during a ceremony at Fort Battleford. The Secujskis, originally from Serbia, have been living in the Battlefords for five years. “It’s safe for kids,” said Sonja. “People are friendly.”Photo by Tara Scaglione
