Alex Conrad It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Alexander William Conrad, beloved son of Bill and Valerie Conrad of Okotoks, Alberta, on August 22, 2011 at the age of 25 at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta. Alex was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan on January 6, 1986. His smile and zest for life touched many people through his short time with us, from family and a multitude of close friends, to many colleagues and patrons at 1600 Bier Haus, Classic Jack's, Earl's, and The George. An avid sports fan, Alex could hold his own on any court, rink, or field. Anyone who met Alex was privileged to feel his energetic spirit and be touched by his brilliant wit and animated personality. Besides his parents, Alex is survived by his siblings: Krista, Tayler, and Megan; nieces, Brooke and Alyssa, and nephew, Christian; grandparents, Duane and Ann Conrad and Loretta Marcotte; and many uncles, aunts and cousins. He will be lovingly remembered by countless friends and acquaintances. Our sincerest thanks to all our family and friends for their love and support during this difficult time.
