Calvin William John Mitchell 1926 - 2011 Calvin Mitchell passed away in Estevan, Sask. on Monday, October 31, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Calvin is survived by his wife, Joyce of 63 years; children, Bill (Kathey) Mitchell, Barry (Marie) Mitchell, Garry (Carrie) Mitchell; sisters, Ruth Rose, Vivian Perkins, Loretta Plette; brother, Leonard Mitchell; grandchildren, Ryan Mitchell, Lindsay Schmidt, Rochelle McKellar, Amanda Prowse, Robbie Mitchell, Jessica Mitchell; 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Margaret Woodley, Marlene Jones, Doreen Meadows, Joan Campbell and Irene Mitchell; and numerous nieces and nephews. Calvin was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Gertrude Mitchell; son, Robert Mitchell; sisters, Audrey (John) Scharock and Marjorie (Pat) McCarron; brother Larry Mitchell; parents-in-law, Bart and May Meadows; brothers-in-law, Mike Pawlachak, Wilmer Jones, Marvin Woodley. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, with Rev. David Holmes officiating. Interment followed in the North Portal Cemetery. Donations can be made in Calvin's memory to the Wa-Wa Shriners, 2065 Hamilton St. Regina, SK, S4P 2E1.
