The members also had the opportunity to assist at the Regina Agribition being balloon runners for the mounted shooting and have been invited back for the 2017 year. They also volunteered and co-hosted the regional 4-H bonspiel in Kelliher for the AGM in Saskatoon.

The Elcapo Lighthorse 4-H Club also held district and regional public speaking competitions in Grenfell at the Apostolic church. All of the members were successful; with three going on to regionals. We are especially proud of Emma Bonk who won first at provincials with her speech on 鈥淪moking鈥.

The Elcapo Lighthorse 4-H Club held their 4-H Achievement Day on June 10, 2017 at Kennedy Rodeo grounds. The members were able to showcase what they have learned throughout the year and held a fun gymkhana in the afternoon, thanks to Flying G Fencing for the use of their electronic eye. We would also like to congratulate Vic Gassner for being the lucky winner of the 50/50, winning $293.00 and everyone who participated in the silent auction; our club total $139.80 with auction items and silver collection. This club could not have been successful without the help of volunteers, parents, grandparents and community support.
