The flooding of Waldsea Lake continued this week. Water has now completely covered the road that once led into the park, the baseball diamonds and is cresting over what was once a grid road that travelled north along the east side. In the distance, where two spruce trees are visible, is where cabins once stood behind a berm. The water levels at Waldsea Lake were expected to go up 15 feet this spring in a plan that involved sacrificing the park to save agricultural land around Deadmoose and Houghton lakes.photo by Keri Dalman
