Glenn Hurbert Brown It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Glenn passed away on Monday, January 16 at the age of 87 years. Glenn was born in Torquay on July 29, 1924. Glenn will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Eileen of Estevan; children: Larry; Garry; Jane Cutler (Ken Pegler); Randy; Donna; Wayne (Kathy); Allan (Anita); Karen Kocis (Perry); grandchildren David (Megan); Carly (Cody); Kristen Johnson (Josh); Shawna; Deanne; Dustin; Alyssa; Stephanie; Tannor, Brett, and Ryan Kocis; great grandchild Zoe. Glenn dedicated 42 years of his life to Graham Construction. Most of these years were spent in the Estevan area. Glenn managed a number of projects in and around the city, with the most significant being the Boundary Dam Power Station, a project that lasted 20 years. As well, Glenn was responsible for a number of local landmarks including the Beefeater Hotel and Plaza, Sussex Arms, the Estevan Curling Rink, as well as numerous schools, oil field and mining structures, and hospitals in Estevan and throughout the province. Glenn was an avid sports fan, outdoorsman, and a skilled musician. His zest for life, sense of humour, sharp wit and strong work ethic attracted many friends. Glenn's greatest love was his family. Many happy hours were spent singing around the campfire at family reunions enjoyed each and every year for the past 45 years. He will be sadly missed, but joyously remembered. Thank You Glenn's family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Tatagwa View where Glenn resided for the past 5 years. Their care and compassion was greatly appreciated and a source of comfort for the family. We would also like to express our appreciation to Allan Styre and the staff at Hall's Funeral Services for their sincere and personal assistance during this time. Thank you to Rev. Brenna Nickel for officiating the service, pianist Allison Holzer, Doug Third for his kind words, and the Days Inn for the luncheon. Thank you to all those who expressed their sympathy through cards, flowers, donations, food and calls. A special thanks to members of the Estevan TaeKwon-Do Club for providing a delicious meal after the service. Everyone's kindness and support was very much appreciated during this difficult time.
