Ok Ag and Auto

It's not a small thing for a business to re-invent itself.

The trick lies in continuing to provide those goods and services for your customers that they have come to depend on...while adding in that 'something new' that might encourage people to come through your door even more often.

The folks at OK Ag & Auto/ Bumper-to-Bumper have been busy, working with new owners Larry and Nancy Fleece to set that perfect balance between tradition and inspiration.

On July 6th, a steady flow of customers came out to take part in the Grand Re-opening for OK Ag & Auto/ Bumper-to-Bumper. Those in attendance enjoyed the BBQ Lunch, and took advantage of the opportunity to speak with Factory Reps that were in attendance. There were also a variety of In-store Specials and Door Prizes on offer.

Larry says that the couple were delighted by the turn-out.

“We were just tickled pink to see the number of people that came by. It meant that we had the chance to meet a lot of people from the community. In the end, there were around 200 meals served. All the money from that...over $800...went to the Kipling Kidcare. So, they did well and we were thankful for all of their hard work.â€

The event provided the previous owners, Joe and Bev Karwandy, with a chance to extend a personal thank-you to the community that had helped their business to flourish over the past 23 years. Joe says that the couple are thoroughly enjoying their retirement,

“We've ALREADY been away fishing this spring. There's a fly-in camp we like to go to. We'll be heading back up there again right away! But, it's great to be here and get a chance to say 'Hi' to people and visit. It's also good to come out and see what's happening at the store.â€

The success of any business is rooted in the relationship it has with both the customers it serves and the community that surrounds it. For Larry, this event was a great way to celebrate the potential and promise that lies ahead for this established business.

“We received well-wishes from so many people. That was wonderful. We really want to thank our staff for all of their hard work. And, we want to say a huge 'Thank-you' to everyone that came out and made our day a tremendous success!â€
