Hockey teams see action over weekend

The Preeceville Pats peewee and bantam teams saw action during two home games on November 29 at the Preeceville Skating Arena. The Peewee Pats took on Esterhazy in a game that ended in a four-four tie.

            The Peewee Pats took on Esterhazy in a game that ended in a four-four tie. Both teams seemed evenly matched as they moved the puck for one side to other in the Preeceville rink.

Scoring for the Pats were: Trever Geistlinger, Seth Rayner (two goals) and Jakob Turchinetz. Assists were by Christian Acosta, Todd Pankratz, Dustin Shankowsky and Shae Peterson.

            The Peewee Pats also faced off against Canora on November 25 but that game ended in a 7-5 loss. Scoring for the Pats were: Dustin Shankowsky, Jakob Turchinetz, Trever Geistlinger and Seth Rayner. Assists were made by Turchinetz, Matheson Petryshyn, Shankowsky, Todd Pankratz, Camron Secundiak and Brynn Babiuk.

            The Bantam Pats also saw action on November 29. In the penalty-filled game against Langenburg, the Pats were frustrated and lost 11-5.

Scoring for the Pats were: Zane Bayer (two goals), Cody Hort (two goals) and Dawson Paul. Assists were made by Seth Rayner, Dawson Paul, Cody Hort, Dylan Wiwcharuk and Peyton Shewchuk.
