Ida Annie Stabenow March 30, 1922 - April 16, 2011 Ida passed away peacefully on April 16, 2011 at the age of 89 years. She is survived by her daughters: Lorraine (Mike) Chanig and Patricia (Tom) DeBruyne; sons: Ken Stabenow, Don Stabenow (Nola Baron) and Dale (Karen) Stabenow; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law: Myrtle Eldstrom, Helen MacDonald, Isabelle Dame; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Earl Stabenow; son, Duane Stabenow; parents, Daniel and Margaret MacDonald; and brother, Robert MacDonald. A Funeral Service was held on Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Midale, Saskatchewan, with a private family interment to follow in Westphalia Cemetery, Midale, Saskatchewan. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Alzheimer's Society of Saskatchewan in Ida's memory. Ida's Family would like to thank the staff at Mainprize Manor for the car that she was given. Thank you to Pastor Cicely McDougall for the service, to the organist Nina Martinson, Dustin Hall for the Hymn, the Bethlehem Lutheran ladies for the lunch, all the cards that have been received, and to Ida's grandchildren for being pallbearers. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
