Jeffery John Lukye January 7, 1980 - April 25, 2011 It is with deep sadness that the family of Jeff Lukye announces his passing on Monday, April 25, 2011 in Rochester, Minnesota at the age of 31 years. Left to cherish precious memories are Jeff's wife, Keri Lukye; daughter, Maya Lukye; siblings, Jeremy Lukye (Wendy Alexander)(Ryan and Tyler), Heidi Lukye (Jason Vicary) (Sophia and Emma), Wally (Annette) Lukye (Lynaia, Alyssa, Tanisha and Kade); Nettie Lukye (Mackenzie); parents, Walter and Beatrice Lukye; grandmother Marie Lukye; parents-in-law, Allan and Carla Faber; in-laws, Ian (Kari) Faber (Mickey Doyle), Mark (Rea) Faber (Riley and Eric), Anthony (Carissa) Faber (Callin and Kristopher); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Fred Lukye and Carl and Mary Karstad, and his uncle, Bertram Karstad. A public visitation was held on Thursday, April 28, 2011 in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. A celebration of Jeff's life was held on Friday, April 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, Estevan, with the Rev. Mike Sinclair officiating. Interment followed in the Estevan City Cemetery. Those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society Relay for Life or a charity of choice in Jeff's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
