John Peter Friedrich John Peter Friedrich passed away with his family by his side on December 27, 2011 from the Moog & Friends Hospice House at the age of 81 years. John was born in Lampman, Sask., to Mathias Friedrich and Julianna Tuchscherer. John will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Mildred (nee Turk) of 58 years; his daughters, Donna (Robert) Moore of Greenwood, N.S., Marilyn (Abe) Coates of Estevan, Sask., Lorna (Charles) Innes of Airdrie, Alta., Fern (Donald) Pugh of Penticton, B.C. and his son Elliott (Kolinda Turnbull) Friedrich of St. Albert, Alta.; grandchildren; Travis and Bradley Moore, Melissa and Amanda Coates, Nicholas and Jaimie Newton, Christopher and Mark Pontius, Jacob and Lucas Friedrich, Nicole and Sean Turnbull; great grandchildren; Leo and Kayla Mitchell and Johnathan Pontius. He is also survived by his brothers, Anton (Joyce), Lambert (Jean) and sister, Rose Maley. He was predeceased by his sister Emily (Alex) Yakimenko. Prayers were said on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Ann's Catholic Church, 1296 Main Street, Penticton. Funeral Mass followed from the church on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Rex Velmonte, Celebrant. Cremation to follow at the Providence Crematorium, Penticton.
