Kenosee altercation on May Long Weekend

At 2:15 a.m. on May 20th, 2017 Carlyle RCMP responded to an altercation involving a number of people at a business located on Lake View Street at Kenosee Lake.

            At 2:15 a.m. on May 20th, 2017 Carlyle RCMP responded to an altercation involving a number of people at a business located on Lake View Street at Kenosee Lake. During the incident two adult males were assaulted and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

            Carlyle RCMP along with the RCMP/Regina Police Service Integrated Intelligence Unit (RIIU) have charged five adult males in relation to this incident which was related to a Hell’s Angels motorcycle club event held annually in the resort community.

            Charges are as follows:

            Richard Jerome BANDET (43) of Regina, SK.: Assault with a weapon – sec. 267(a) CC, Assault causing bodily harm – sec. 267(b) CC;

            Daniel Adam BECKER (34) of Regina, SK.: Assault – sec. 266 CC;

            Howard Cedric Cormier (52) of Moose Jaw, SK.: Assault – sec. 266 CC;

            Javis Martin WATSON (35) of Regina, SK.: Assault x 3 – sec. 266 CC;

            Andrew Blair WAUGH (29) of Regina, SK.: Assault causing bodily harm – sec. 267(b) CC.

            All five have made their initial court appearances and were released on Undertaking/Conditions. They are scheduled to appear again in Regina Provincial Court (dates and times are unavailable at this time).
