The North Battleford Umpires Association hosted the second annual NBUA Slo-pitch Fundraiser tournament at the Flats last weekend. A field of 24 teams from around the Northwest registered for the two-day tournament. The Stunners from Saskatoon beat the Assassins to win the A final. Thunderchild’s Ramrods won the B final. In the C final, North Battleford’s Candy Crush downed the Generals from Sweetgrass. SG Light, also from North Battleford, won the D final. The NBUA’s next event is the Fist Full of Dollars tournament July 19.Photo by Brett Smith
