Nel married Paul Glasser on March 21, 1953 and moved to Estevan on May 1, 1954 where they raised their five children. Nel was always actively involved in her children's lives whether it was driving, baking, sewing, etc, etc. She was a Girl Guide Leader, a mentor, a friend and a friends' friend. Nel was an active member of the Royal Purple for 30 years holding many offices. She was an avid curler and would curl whenever asked because she loved the game. She enjoyed woodworking and crafts: cross-stitch, knitting, hardanger, everything was self-taught. She helped with the Community Hamper Project and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Nel was an active member of our community volunteering wherever needed. Nel was a loving wife, the best mom a child could wish for, a proud grandma and great grandma and a great friend. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her, but what she did teach us was to laugh and enjoy life. Prayers were held on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan, Sask.
