Phillip Jacob Glasser September 16, 1921 - April 15, 2011 Phillip Glasser passed away in Lampman, Sask. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at the age of 89 years. Phil is survived by his wife, Gladys of Lampman; children, Phylis (Al) Lienau of Spruce Grove, Alta., Garth (Shirley) of Carlyle, Sask., Ronald (Linda) of Lampman and Danny (Val) of Lampman; grandchildren, Sharon (Tim), Sherry (Dexter), Boris (Kim), Quentin (Suzanne), Jennifer (Wade), Jason, Mellissa and Devon; 10 great grandchildren; step children, Richard Fieber, Fred (Beryl) Fieber, Taylor (Barb) Ross, Christopher (Eva) Fieber, Edward Fieber and Debra (Alex) Jones; numerous step grandchildren; siblings, Joseph Glasser of Regina, Sask., Paul (Nel) Glasser of Estevan and Kaye Reed of Oxbow; sister-in-law Pat Glasser of Edmonton, Alta., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Phillip and Monica Glasser; first wife, Bernice; brothers, Edward and Johnny (Lois); sisters, Elizabeth (John) Geisel and Magdalena (Ole) Aabol; brother-in-law, Marvin Reed; and step sons, Greg Fieber and Ronald Fieber. Prayers were held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. and Funeral Mass was celebrated on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Joel Rama. Both services were held in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, Lampman. Interment followed in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery, Lampman. Those so wishing may make donations to the Lampman Community Health Centre or the Lung Association of Saskatchewan in Phil's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
