Police are treating a death on the Cote First Nation as suspicious.
In the early hours of Monday morning, Kamsack RCMP responded to a complaint of an unresponsive adult male at a residence on the First Nation. Shortly thereafter the man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators were called in from the Yorkton forensic unit and Major Crimes South, but no details on what made first responders suspect foul play were given.
A press release stated more information would be provided as it became available.
