Rosalia (Rose) Sokol February 8, 1918 - December 9, 2011 Rose Sokol passed away in Estevan on Friday, December 9, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Survived by her special niece, Kathy (Frank) Trobert, Estevan; daughter-in-law, Laurie Sokol, Estevan; grandchildren, Jolene (Kordel) Korf, Estevan, Chris (Angela) Sokol, Regina, Mike Sokol, Estevan; great nephews, James (Doris) Trobert, Estevan, Greg (Sheri) Trobert, Regina; great grandchildren, Zak, Sy, Molly and Liv Korf; Ava, Piper and Edyn Sokol. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Sokol and her son, Joe Sokol; her parents and one sister. Prayers were held at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, in St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Estevan by Rev. Joel Rama. Interment followed in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens. Those so wishing may make donations to the New Estevan Regional Nursing Home in Rose's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
