Rosena Sarah Jankoski April 24, 1920 - June 21, 2011 Rosena Jankoski passed away in Estevan, Sask. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Rosena is survived by her niece, Carole (Richard) Archer, as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Ted; parents, David and Rosina Corley; brothers, Isaac and Joe; sisters, Eva and Freda; brother-in-law, Tom Kells; sister-in-law, Katie; nephew, Bill Kells; and niece-in-law, Marge Kells. Rosena was the fifth child of Rosina and David Corley. She attended the small country school of Prairie Grove until 1937, and completed her Grade 12 in Elfros School. Rosena then attended Saskatoon Normal School where she obtained her teaching certificate, and taught in various places such as Estevan, Prairie Grove, Elfros, Bateman, and Lafleche. As she set out to further her education and obtained various teaching positions, she met Ted Jankoski, and they were married in 1959, with 49 happy long years of married life. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's United Church, Estevan, with Rev. Eric Pullam officiating. Interment followed in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan. If friends so desire, donations may be given to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Kidney Foundation in Rosena's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan.
