People flocked to downtown Estevan on Saturday for the Downtown Action Committee’s second annual Street Fair.

The 1100 and 1200 blocks of Fourth Street were closed off to vehicle traffic so that people could easily walk up and down the street. Local businesses had sidewalk sales and in-store specials to attract customers.

Local non-profit organizations held fundraisers and promoted their community initiatives. Picnic benches were set up for people to sit down and enjoy snow cones, ice cream and other snacks and refreshments.

The Estevan Bible Camp had its rock climbing wall at the intersection of Fourth Street and 12th Avenue. The Estevan Girl Guides offered face painting.

The Estevan Fire Rescue Service and the Estevan Police Service had their vehicles on display so people could take a look inside them. Antique vehicles were also on site for people to admire.
