Jackfish Lake was the place to be for sailing fans as the Battlefords Sailing Club held their annual provincial Regatta on July 19 and 20. The feature event for that regatta was the District 5 Laser Championship with racers from Saskatchewan and elsewhere competing. Racers saw cool and brisk conditions for racing Sunday morning and afternoon at the event, held during the 50th anniversary for the sailing club in Meota.Photo by John Cairns
