North Battleford RCMP say the slippery road conditions were a significant factor in an eight-vehicle accident, which brought the morning commute from Battleford to North Battleford to a grinding halt. Only three vehicles were directly involved in the collision, which occurred on Highway 4 North at the Highway 16 overpass. One woman was transported to the Battleford Union Hospital with a minor neck and back injury. Two of the vehicles had to be towed, while the others needed to be pulled from the snow bank. Charges have yet to be laid, as RCMP are continuing with their investigation.Photos by Tara Scaglione
