Thorine Mildred Olson February 3, 1926 - September 17, 2011 Thorine Olson, formerly of Macoun, Sask. passed away in Estevan, Sask. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Thorine is survived by her husband, Orville Olson of Estevan; daughters, Marilyn (Royce) Haugen of Calgary, Alta. and their children Lorien and Jenna; Lynel Hill of Cowley, Alta. and Bev (Eldon) Boldt of Saskatoon, Sask. and their children Jacee and Denver; sisters, Inis (Art) Marcotte of Saskatoon and Ione Wanner of Saskatoon; brothers, Thor (Florence) Waldal of Lanigan, Sask., Ken Waldal of Kindersley, Sask., Casper (Lorette) Waldal of Regina, Sask. and Wally Waldal of Vancouver, B.C.; sister-in-law Ione Waldal of Lanigan, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Sylvia (Bud) Bloor, Estelle (Mel) Johnson, Mavis Schnell and Janice Peterson; brothers, Joyce Waldal, Owen Waldal, Mervin (Wilda) Waldal and Elton Waldal; brother-in-law, Roy Wanner and sister-in-law, Marcella Waldal. Visitation was held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. A Memorial Service was held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Church of God, Estevan, with Pastor Charlie Bowen officiating. A private family interment took place prior to the service in the Macoun Cemetery. Those so wishing may make donations to a charity of choice in Thorine's memory. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. Thank You Thank you to all our family, friends and neighbours for your love and support.
