The Kerrobert Tigers swept the Unity Miners out of the SWHL semifinals. The possibility of going all the way had coaxed Scott Gilbert and Pat Sperle out of retirement. Meanwhile Tiger Dave Morrell, the league scoring champ in 2003-04, had picked up five points in the first game.
NHL player, Senlac’s Curtis Brown was traded from the Buffalo Sabres to the San Jose Sharks. Brown was drafted by the Sabres in the second round in 1994.
