Early morning house fire in Regina

One person sent to hospital with minor burns following fire on McDonald St.

This was the scene as Regina Fire responded to a call on McDonald Street early Friday morning.

REGINA - Regina Fire and Protective Services were on the scene Friday of a house fire on McDonald St. in the city.

According to Regina Fire’s post on social media, the location was on the 2200 block McDonald St at 6:28am. 

Firefighters responded to the scene and made entry to the home. Regina Fire says they had the fire under control within 10 minutes. 

However there was an injury reported. According to Regina Fire, one occupant was transported to hospital with minor burns. 

The fire is under investigation.
