KENASTON — Glen Jess got a major reaction to his $207,011.50 win on the Feb. 10 Lotto 6/49 draw – but the reaction wasn’t his.

“The retailer started hollering and I looked up and it said ‘Major Winner’ on the screen,” he said. “I just didn’t believe it, but the winning amount was right there!”

“The retailer actually had to call my partner because she didn’t believe me about the win!” he laughed.

The Kenaston man says he is planning to pay off debts before he begins dreaming about any other expenditures with his windfall.

“I’ve definitely thought about winning the lottery but it’s never something you think will actually happen,” he said. “Two or three days later is when it starts to settle in.”

Jess purchased his winning Lotto 6/49 ticket at Riverbend Co-Op, located at 708 3rd St. in Kenaston. He won his prize by matching five of the six Classic draw numbers plus the bonus number drawn on Feb. 10 — 1, 5, 15, 18, 22, 44 and 6.
