Meta has launched a  tailored for advertisers. Three new features stand out: a new background generator that will automatically generate varied backgrounds for product images (echoing the functionalities of Meta's existing "Backdrop" tool), an image expansion tool that will automatically optimize content for different sized ad units, and a copy generator that will create and alternate multiple versions of a message to spotlight specific keywords and assess which combinations yield the most effective responses.

This may not sound like much, but these are huge "baby steps." This is an early version of an advertising future that does not yet have a name; you might call it a "Generative Persuasion Engine" or a "Generative Outcome Optimizer" or simply an "auto persuader."

We are on a path to AI systems (from Meta or others) that will allow you to enter your business objective(s), sit back, and wait for the results – which will be accomplished by relentless generation and regeneration of messages that will not stop until your objectives have been met. My guess is that the upcoming general election will be won by an AI system that does this. The technology is here.
