WestJet to provide more summer service to Regina, Saskatoon

REGINA - WestJet has announced this week it is expanding its summer 2025 schedule of flights to and from Saskatoon and Regina.

The airline is adding more nonstop connections to Edmonton, Vancouver and Winnipeg to and from both Regina and Saskatoon. In a news release WestJet says it is expanding Saskatchewan's connectivity 20 per cent, adding 23 per cent growth in seat capacity from Regina and 19 per cent from Saskatoon.

The airline will fly 14 times weekly between Saskatoon and Edmonton for a 100 per cent increas, 11 times weekly between Saskatoon and Vancouver for a 10 per cent increase, and 13 times weekly between Saskatoon and Winnipeg for an eight per cent increase. There will also be 14-times-per-week fights between Regina in Edmonton for a 133 per cent increase there, 11-times-per-week flights between Regina and Winnipeg for 120 per cent increase, and daily flights between Regina and Vancouver.

"We are thrilled to reaffirm our commitment to Saskatchewan and connecting Canadians from coast-to-coast with enhanced service from Regina and Saskatoon," said John Weatherill, WestJet Executive Vice-President and Chief Commercial Officer, in a statement. "This summer, WestJet will increase Saskatchewan's connectivity to domestic and transborder destinations, while continuing to offer guests more affordability, flexibility and choice."
