NORTH BATTLEFORD — Families looking to beat the heat this week have an option today thanks to the North Battleford Fire Department.
The department organized two pop-up spray parks, offering refreshing relief from the summer sun. The first park was at Connaught School July 10, with the second Thursday, July 11, at Centennial Park, located north of the skate park until 3 p.m.
For those seeking additional aquatic fun, the city's three permanent Spray Parks — situated in Centennial Park, Kinsmen Park, and Senator Herb Sparrow Park — remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
