ARBORFIELD — A group of 25 people from Arborfield submitted a request to the North East School Division to have a meeting of the electors.
The NESD has posted that a meeting of the electors will be held in Arborfield at 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30 at the Arborfield Community Hall in Arborfield.
In the notice it stated the purpose of this special meeting will be for electors to discuss: The future of Arborfield School and how we can together make Arborfield School the best K-6 school that we can.
The Arborfield School was put under review and has just become a Kindergarten to Grade 6 school this fall. Mayor of Arborfield Chet Edwards has been an avid supporter of the school and keeping it open. He encourages all parents and community members to attend.
